Since moving to London in 2006, Filipina/British singer Mishka Adams has released 6 albums, the first four with British jazz label Candid Records, graduated with a Masters in Jazz Vocals from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and built a solid name for herself as a singer and percussionist on the London Jazz and Samba scenes. The album features compositions written by Pete Churchill and performed by a remarkable band: Mishka Adams on lead vocals, Pete Churchill on piano and vocals, Mark Lockheart on saxophone, Adriano Adewale on percussion, and Ben Barritt on guitar and vocals.
