THE DESTROYERS
Giving a whole new meaning to the word epic! With at least 12
musicians on stage for every gig, The Destroyers reinvent Balkan
basslines, with red-hot brass and strings, raucous, roaring choruses
and a truly massive sound. A rare London appearance from a true
musical juggernaut - if you think you need to be somewhere else, you
are wrong!

GYPSY HILL
The beast from nearby the middle east. Gypsy Hill play an intoxicating
mix of balkan brass, mediterranean surf rock, ska & swing. Featuring
guitars, horns, tuba, a scratch DJ and a mix of live and electronic
beats, Gypsy Hill effortlessly mix the traditional with a uniquely
modern sound.
Producers DJ Kobayashi and Herbert Newbert have taken the project from
studio to stage, gradually growing the band and honing their
high-energy live hows. Their burgeoning CV includes remixes for the
likes of Balkan Beat Box and Al Jawala and a special feature on Ninja
Tune’s impressive new Ninja Jamm app, appearing alongside electronic
music royalty such as Coldcut, Mr Scruff, Bonobo and many more of the
Ninja Tunes roster.
A tour history that includes some of the UK and Europe’s biggest festivals
(Glastonbury, Bestival, WOMAD, Sziget, Fusion), Gypsy Hill are no
strangers to the big stages, having played alongside some of the
greats including Taraf De Haidouks.
THE ODD BEATS
Queen of hearts Dila V puts her radiant smile to Turkish folk with a
psychedelic twist. Armed with her gang of musical heavyweights, Dila
has rocked parties across Europe, including the notorious Hell Stage
at Glastonbury, where she is a favourite. Our much-loved house band at
Eastern Circus.
DJ Kobayashi
Musical powerhouse and man of many talents, Kobayashi should really be
renamed Kobasmashi!
Chloe Purcell's Puppet Theatre
Chloe's beautiful puppets tell stories that cross borders, with
Karagoz and Hacivat shining light on the magical travels of strange
and wonderful characters.
