In the depths of Dalston we are overjoyed to present you three fantastic acts representing an incredible range of sounds from the East.
47SOUL
Drawing on their Palestinian roots, 47Soul make music that crosses borders - it's a celebration of movement which features bass-heavy dance sounds, virtuosic instrumentalism and vocal improvisation and rap. It's a deep deep sound that infects audiences across the world.
After hearing rumours of this band from friends all over, we finally caught their set at London Remixed Festival and immediately booked them to headline our show at Wilderness Festival this summer. Since then they've been touring in South America at Womex. Catch them while you can and make sure you bring your dancing feet - this lot will move you.
THE ODD BEATS
Fronted by queen of hearts Dila Vardar, the Odd Beats offer a fresh take on Turkish folk, with their heavy 3-piece rhythm section and psychedelic guitar sounds. It a super upbeat show and one that brings everyone present together in adoration of Dila's irrepressible smile. Come and enjoy!
USHTI BABA
A raucous and flamboyant show which employs incredible beatbox styles as their drum kit. Their heavyweight lineup features horns, strings and dancers to get the party started.
As well as amazing music, there will also be spellbinding shadow puppetry from Chloe Purcell throughout the night.
