  • Dalston Eastern Curve Garden 13 Dalston Lane London, England, E8 3DF United Kingdom (map)

Revel in the grounded lyrics and folk melodies of an up-and-coming musical storyteller.

ELLA CLAYTON

Ella Clayton is a singer/songwriter born and raised in East London. Having developed her soulful-folk sound busking on the streets of Brighton and Berlin, Ella has caught the ears of a growing community of music lovers around the world with her honest storytelling and spell-binding voice. Her first album, ‘Murmurations’ led to her being selected by George Ezra to perform at Latitude Festival, and then to record her second album in his studio the following year. The first tracks from this record are set to be released in the coming months.

'Ella writes wistful, highly emotive tales: a tender kind of modern folk featuring well laid out stories of life… think elements of Laura Marling, Nick Drake, and Jeff Buckley. She’s one of those singer-songwriters who speaks right into your heart, homing in, unerringly, with pinpoint accuracy to expose your feelings, and share them with you' - Phil Taylor, review of RSD performance at Rough Trade, Nottingham.

SUPPORT ACT - HENRY GRACE

Henry Grace is a British singer-songwriter. His debut album Alive In America was written about the formative years he spent living in California in his early twenties.

Recorded live over five days at Rockfield Studios, Alive In America was released in January 2022 to acclaim with the album painting a stark and vivid depiction of the place he called home and credits with saving his life.

The album received praise from the likes of Wonderland, Anthem and Americana UK and support from BBC Introducing and Spotify editorial playlists with Henry being chosen by Danielle Perry as her self-released artist of the month on Absolute Radio’s Sunday Night Music Club.

Alive In America was followed with the single Missouri Revisited in November 2022 alongside a first UK tour and string of sold out shows in London at The Lexington, Omeara and Jazz Cafe as well as festival appearances at The Great Escape and Glastonbury.

His eagerly anticipated second album, co-produced by Mystery Jets' Blaine Harrison, is expected later this year.
