JORDS

Jords is a British rapper, singer, and songwriter from Croydon, South London. Fusing genres like grime, jazz, R&B, garage, house, and drill, his music is marked by its thoughtful exploration of identity, heritage, and social justice. Growing up in a musical family—his father a member of The Jazz Defektors and his uncle, Grammy-winning songwriter Gordon Chambers—Jords began making music in his teens under the name "Vicious Kid," inspired by local heroes like Krept & Konan.

In 2023, he made history as the first UK rap act to sign with Motown Records, releasing his second album, Dirt in the Diamond. The project, featuring standout tracks like “iPray” with Wretch 32, was widely praised for its depth and vulnerability. Today, Jords stands out as a powerful voice in UK rap, using his art to challenge, uplift, and inspire. His mixtape titled ‘Mixtape J’ will be release on the 6th June this year.
