Marie Naffah + Eve Buckley

  • Dalston Eastern Curve Garden 13 Dalston Lane London E8 3DF United Kingdom (map)

The singer-songwriter’s sound encapsulates her fiercely independent attitude: simultaneously full of drive and gloriously carefree.

London-based singer-songwriter Marie Naffah masterfully blends classic storytelling, drawing inspiration from legends like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Joni Mitchell, with contemporary influences such as Sharon Van Etten, Bleachers, and Big Thief.

This fusion creates a distinctive sound that balances modernity and nostalgia. Having seen widespread critical acclaim from the likes of The Independent, BBC, NME, New Music Friday and many more, Marie released her debut album ‘Mother of Pearl’ in June 2024 under Frictionless Music.

A core aspect of Marie’s artistry is her dedication to building meaningful connections with her fans, a quality that shines through in every project she undertakes. Prioritising fan engagement, Marie recently completed a sold-out regional tour across the UK, which concluded with a memorable performance at London’s EartH Theatre in Hackney.

2025 saw the recording of a special new EP in a fan's home in Cornwall, due for release in 2026. Proudly authentic, ‘Marie carves her own musical path that is unlike any other,’ as perfectly put by Wonderland Magazine.

‘A brilliant show’ — NME

'Following in the restless footsteps of the great folk and rock songwriters' — The Independent
