Mychelle + Sunny Reyne

  • Dalston Eastern Curve Garden 13 Dalston Lane London E8 3DF United Kingdom (map)

The local-born artist draws on RnB flavours to tell stories that are all her own.

Born and raised in Stoke Newington, Mychelle grew up surrounded by music. The middle of three sisters, she picked up guitar at 10 but didn’t fully embrace it until 17. After forming her first girl group, she overcame shyness through bold busking across London, where she honed her sound. One day, FAMM—home to Jorja Smith—discovered her at London Bridge. Her debut single, “The Way,” received major playlist support and led to her acclaimed Closure EP.

In 2022, Somebody Who Knows followed, featuring ENNY and earning praise from BBC, Clash, and Spotify’s Radar. A sold-out headline show and festival gigs across Europe followed. Her 2023 EP It’s Not You, It’s Me pushed her sound further with standout tracks like “Tightrope.”In 2025, she dropped “Sweet Nothings,” a confident anthem celebrated by BBC, COLORS, and Spotify. With soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics, Mychelle continues to carve a powerful, authentic path.

SUNNY REYNE

Infusing a blend of neo-soul and alt-jazz influences, Melbourne-born, London-based singer Sunny Reyne’s warm, lush vocals inspire a distinctive and calming energy, emphasising the subtleties and nuances of groove and synth-laden beats.

Sunny released her debut album entitled 'I've Been Sleeping Too Long', an alt-jazz and neo-soul record released via London-based label Bridge The Gap in 2023. The project was created in collaboration with UK-based producer and keys player Lewis Moody, bringing to life her earthy, soulful tracks, with songwriting sitting somewhere between Lianne La Havas and Charlotte Day Wilson’s grounded take on contemporary soul music. She is currently in the midst of finishing her sophomore album, created with producer Chris Hyson.

Sunny has played across festivals including Wilderness, We Out Here and Cross The Tracks and supported artists such as Olive Jones, Allysha Joy and Audrey Powne. Sunny has garnered attention from the likes of Jamie Cullum, BBC and JazzFM, as well as hosting a weekly show on Soho Radio.

In her music, Sunny opts for minimalistic, rhythmic vocal lines and understated instrumentation in combination with detailed production choices and disjointed grooves that combine to add extra weight to her lyrics, highlighting her considered vocal choices.
