It’s these collaborations, blended with influences from the likes of Frank Ocean, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and Robert Glasper, that have led to James developing a unique sound and style of his own whilst emerging as one of UK music’s most interesting voices.

Rozzzqween the Brummy’ Extraordinaire has built her sound from trauma, tumultuous relationships and life’s harshest lessons. Her tone is jazzy and unique and strokes of her voice exude clear influential references such as Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse and Billie Holiday. It comes of no surprise that the Iconic three superstars are also her biggest inspirations. Originating from Birmingham, she has never forgotten her city as she claims that is what has “carved her sound”. She was able to find Tiktok spotlight with her song “Sunday Afternoon” that was able to trend virally soaring her streams independently to over 450K in 2019. She looks forward to her upcoming releases that showcase her new sound.
