The Lebanese singer has created a fearless blend of RnB, soul and middle-eastern music.
Since her 2022 debut, Lebanese-born and London-based Sunkissed Child (Yasmina) has emerged as a definitive force in Alt-R&B. Her music is a fearless collision of Soul, Jazz, and Middle Eastern soundscapes, prioritizing radical vulnerability and sharp storytelling over the traditional expectations placed on Arab women in the 21st century.
A central figure in the UK’s underground scene, Yasmina’s live shows are "emotional rollercoasters" backed by the country's most exciting young musicians. From sold-out headlines in London and Leeds to standout sets at We Out Here and Turkey’s Sound of Europe, her imposing musicianship has earned her a reputation for captivating, narrative-driven performance.
Championed by BBC Radio 6, Clash Magazine, and Scene Noise, Sunkissed Child is an active collaborator with collectives like Suede Jazz and PlantFood. With a series of high-profile releases arriving in 2026, she is firmly establishing herself as a transformative architect of modern soul.
MADELEINE
An emerging player in the nu-jazz and UK soul scene, MADELEINE is a singer, songwriter and producer taking influence from the progressive electronics of Flying Lotus and Salami Rose Joe Louis. With support already from The Line of Best Fit, BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and Jazz FM, and an appearance at 2025's SXSW under her belt, she's also a celebrated session musician, having toured the world as keyboardist for the likes of Olivia Dean, Jorja Smith, and Rachel Chinouriri.
Her latest offering ‘Earth Cry’ is an exploration of future soul through the lens of London’s electronic-influenced sound waves, marrying poignant songwriting with carefully moulded soundscapes and an ear for groove. Providing a snapshot of her ever-developing artistic voice, the project crafts a sound world complete with expertly moulded synthscapes and soulful electronica.
Thematically, ‘Earth Cry’ picks up where her last EP - 2023's ‘Sun Daughter’ - left off, acting as a cry for planet Earth and exploring the idea of returning what is given, restoration and balance. The majority of the 6-track EP was self-produced, written, and arranged by MADELEINE, with some additional production and mixing work by Lewis Moody (Allysha Joy, 30/70, CHERISE) and Will Heaton (Ebi Soda). This results in a beautiful body of work, rooted in her own voice and originality.
